With a background in social work and education, I specialize in supporting individuals navigating school systems and couples facing relationship challenges. I bring personal and professional experience in education, including expertise in supporting families and individuals with autism, helping parents advocate for their children and understand their rights. I also support couples in rebuilding connection, improving communication, and working through conflict in a respectful, collaborative space. Whether you’re facing challenges at home or in the classroom, I’m here to help you feel heard, empowered, and supported. I walk alongside you, step by step, offering support as you navigate life’s challenges—whether it’s advocating within the school system, supporting a child with autism, or working through relationship struggles. Together, we’ll move at your pace, building clarity, confidence, and connection in a space where you feel truly heard and supported. My approach is always guided by what makes you feel most comfortable. I take the time to understand your goals and walk alongside you at your own pace. You deserve to feel heard and supported. I am a mental health therapist with extensive experience supporting children, youth, young adults, adults, and families across a wide range of mental health concerns. I completed my Master’s degree in 2015, with a specialization in Children and Families through the University of Toronto. I also hold foundational training from Toronto Metropolitan University grounded in an Anti-Oppressive Practice (AOP) framework, which informs my understanding of how identity, background, systems, and lived experience shape who we are and the stories we carry.

My professional training began in Alberta, where I developed a strong foundation in evidence-based practice, group work, and high-risk mental health support. I have facilitated DBT skills groups, worked extensively in school settings, and supported children and youth experiencing complex emotional and behavioural challenges.

A significant part of my work has involved supporting high-risk youth, including regular screening for suicidal ideation and psychosis. I am very comfortable with risk assessment and safety planning, and I approach this work with care, clarity, and compassion.

My therapeutic style is collaborative, client-led, and strengths-based. I believe clients are the experts of their own lives, and my role is to meet you where you are, honour your experiences, and support you in moving toward meaningful change. We work at a pace that feels manageable, using your values, goals, and insights as our guide.

I am a social, relational therapist who values consistency and connection. I work well with clients who benefit from structure and ongoing support, including monthly virtual check-ins. Evening appointments are available, and virtual therapy is a core part of my practice.
